Hair transparency in surface tab

Hello,
I wanted to know if there is a good method to turn hair parts fully transparent, with the surface tab ? I sometimes used the opacity slider, but lately I've noticed it's not enough to get the hair parts completely transparent, it seems some light is still reflecting on the surfaces with opacity set to zero.
I put a picture, so that you can see what I mean, the front strands (opacity at zero) are not really visible, but we can guess they are there, is there another parameter to alter, in order to make them totally invisible ?
Thanks,
Navi

Can you post screenshot(s) of the Surface settings for the invisible strands?
Thank you fixmypcmike,
Here are captures of one of the strands :
(ps : I'm back in about 8 hours only, won't be able to reply in between).
What you're seeing is the specular. Just enable 'Multiply Specular Through Opacity' so the opacity settings will be applied to specular as well. You may need to adjust specular strength.

Aww :) Thanks a lot for the tip wowie, it really helps ! Tested with "Multiply specular through opacity" on, and specular set at zero, and yes, now the strands are really invisible (pic is a crop from an unfinished render). I post a capture of the new surface settings in case someone has the same problem.
Thanks a lot again !
