Moving Hairline?

Would anybody know of a way I can fix this hairline? I tried adjusting his forehead height, but that's not the problem, and changing the height looks funky. His forehead is fine, as you can see in the other attached example. It's the hair...specifically this hair, that's the problem - https://www.daz3d.com/top-knot-hair-and-beard-for-genesis-3-and-8. The hairline angle can be changed, making the widow's peak deeper or more shallow, but I just want to move the widow's peak up, not flatten it...if that makes sense. I tried mesh grabber, but that didn't do the job.

*edit* I think I may have figured it out with mesh grabber...will post results after a new render.

Good luck. I have given up hope on ever fixing my own moving hairline.

If you are doing post work in Photoshop you might find this helpful.

You can try parenting the hair to a skull cap like one by Redz which has adjustments. You can then make the redz cap invisible. Then you can tug it around somewhat.

There is a freebie over at DA that is supposed to help with this. Unfortunately, I can't remember what it's called. I will check my freebie folder in the morning to see if I can find it.

I was able to get the job done with mesh grabber. I didn't need to move it by much...but it's a huge difference. Finished piece -

Great image.  Any chance you can explain the process of moving the hairline with mesh grabber?

Thanks! It really wasn't anything so elaborate...I just clicked on the tip of the widows peak I wanted to move up and made sure the falloff radius was set higher (I think I had it on 7 or something like that) to move the whole front piece of the hair geometry.

This is my favorite activity with hair in DS.  I'm kidding, but I do tweak things quite a bit.  Typical female hair models seem to have too low of a hairline to be realistic.  I expand the figure hierarchy until I can select the Head, then in parameters: show hidden properties, and use Bend or x-rotate to rotate the hair a few degrees.  It actually works great most of the time.  Adding a smoothing modifier also helps with the fit after the rotation.
