Galleries with Firefox

I've been unable to watch anything on the galleries, for a few days, somebody has got the same issue ?

Any thumb I click on, the whole page is covered with a transparent grey layer, with a black half-circle turning in the middle (like when pages are loading); all buttons disabled, and the picture itself doesn't display, because of the grey layer.

It's strange, because it must work for most people, since they are posting pictures, and that there are comments/like on them ?

Do you have any javascript blockers or other similar plugins running? I use NoScript, and had to allow a few things before it would finish loading the page, before I do that I appear to see the same thing you did.

AS Sean says this could be a java problem, do you have the latest Java ? Also the Gallery is optimised to work in the more recent versions of FireFox. I am fine using FF 32

You could try removing DAZ cookies, clearing your browser cache and history and then rebooting, to make sure it is completely cleared and try again.

Another tip was to change the URL, if the one you are using is http then add the s to make it https, or vice versa.

It's strange, using Noscript here too, but until a few days ago, everything was working, with the same urls whitelisted in Noscript for a long time. I've tried allowing all of them today, and still got the same "loading" page, that why I thought there was something more to it than just scripts.

update : Just testing again while I'm replying, allowed the single remaining url (sharethis.com) and now this works. Curious, because I've tested it before posting the thread, and it didn't Oo .

Now, that's sad to block the whole galleries for just a facebook/twitter etc button  .

Thanks for the tip, I will try to force https for the galleries :) . Using FF 32 here too (didn't update to 33 yet). As for the browser cache issue, I don't think my problem comes from this, as I clean cache everyday.

For now, I think I'll just allow that annoying facebook thing temporarily for browsing galleries, every time.
