Folding a scarf

Hello everyone

This issue really drives me mad. I am not a 3D artist by any mean but a fashion designer. (scarves).

While I can produce meanwhile decent renders in Daz3d I am not able to find a square scarf that is wrapped around the neck.

I do own IDG dForce Dynamics Scarves and Shawls which is really a great product. But unfortunatly there is no such a thing like a big square scarf wrapped around the neck like here for example.

So I tried to create this with the dForce Magnet but there is no way to achieve a good looking result - at least not when I am doing this.

Now, I know there are some multitalents in here. THat probably are also using Clo3D, Marvelous Designer, Maya or what so ever.

Could anyone help me on this? I could give you in return one of my scarves.

I just really really need to get this done. Damn, I mean there are great products out there that are so close to what I am looking for but just not the right size.

You would need a scarf that was modelled folded diagonally, then had bones for bending along the hypotenuse so that you couldmprepare it in a near loop above the model's head. Memorise that pose (Edit>Figure>Memorise>Memorise Figure Pose) and simulate so that drops into place. I'm not sure that there is suitable model - the ones in the IDG set are modelled flat with the bend lines running parallel to the edges

    THanks for the comment.

Yes good point about the diagonally folded scarf. This might be the reason why I wasn't able to find one.

Do you know anyone who would be able to model such a piece for me?

thanks WendyLuvsCatz, but since it doesn't mention DForce I don't think this would work.
