Created a character for V4, what next (i.e. saving the character)?

I'm aware that this next bit would be so much easier to do in Poser. But I don't have Poser.

I created a Wrap3 version of my oc for Victoria 4. Initially, I had  to correct a lot of problems in Blender. But when I tried to get the morph to load, I kept getting the "No Deltas for Morph, Skipping load" message. I think I found out what that meant (the geometry had changed so much that it couldn't be converted into a morph by Morph Loader Pro). I was gutted.

So I went back to my third version of the wrap. Except I can't dial the character all of the way up to maximum value, as her tongue pokes through her chin.

I just wanted to do something different (have a break from G8). Although, I'm starting to wish that I hadn't bothered.

Anyway, does anyone know how do I save this character/morph/dial in Daz Studio?

Thank you for any help.

Ideally use ExP exporter, but you can also export as CR2 and either that to load the figure in future or use a third-party tool to make an Inj/Rem pose for it using one of the community channels. It's been a very long time sicne I have done any of that, though.

You, Sir. Are BRILLIANT!  I've saved her as a CR2 format. Thank you!!!

I want to try and create a new skin textures for her. When they're finished, would I have to load in the finished textures, and then re-save the cr2?

Yes, though don't forget you can't share the CR2 with others - for that you would have to use one of the other methods I mentioned to get injectable morphs or ExP files.

I didn't know that. Plus, I didn't intend to anyway. I've just got move it to another computer.

Is this: https://www.daz3d.com/injection-pose-builder-1-5 ; one of the other methods that you mentioned (for creating INJ/REM files)?

No, that one is for creating a pose that will do injections when the morphs are already injectable - it's for character creators using existing morphs, not for creating new morphs. ExP Exporter would be the tool to use if  possible, since it's part of DS itself, though the process is fiddly 9and as I said, my ability to help would be pretty rusty). But for simply moving to another PC the CR2 should be fine.

I'm glad I asked, or I would've bought it, and it would've been useless to me. ^^'

I'll use the CR2 version then.

Thank you for the help smiley
