DAZ Loading Meta Data

On my second computer when I open up DAZ Studio 4.12 it keeps loading over 2600 items from DAZ Connect( It does not happen on my main computer).I have looked at the settings and I cannot seem to find a way to stop this! It means I cannot use DAZ Studio on my second computer for over an hour. I am not opening two copies at once! Any suggestions? Cheers

    Is DS being allowed to go online by default on the slow machine and not on the fast? There has been an issue with some products having corrupt metadata that brings the process to a stagger, though it wasn't as bad for me as for you (and it may have been fixed since my last try, I've been running a Backblaze backup so trying not to add more stuff for my slow upload speed to have to send back to them).

    My second machine is a slow machine .Only 16 gigs RAM and an Intel i5.DAZ is allowed to go online at startup! What is your suggestion? Cheers

    Don't have DS go online and see if that resolves the issue - though it does seem excessively slow
