Emptying InstallManager Download Folder

in The Commons
I want to free up some space on my laptop by copying my InstallManager zip files to a flash drive, then emptying the download folder. Is it okay to copy/delete the.XML files that share the folder as well?
I also want to make sure that deleting the old zips won't confuse DIM into thinking that these files haven't been downloaded yet.

You can leave the .dsx files in the download folder, and move the zip files. It's the same as using the "Delete Package Once Installed" checkbox; DIM will know that you have downloaded it.
If you remove both zip and dsx then DIM will think the package needs to be downloaded if it isn't installed. The .dsx files are pretty small, so they could be left
That answers my questions -- thanks to you both.
