M6, Gianni 6, Lee 6? Favourite?

So if you had enough to only buy ONE male for Genesis 2 Male, who would you choose and why?
Is one of the new 6 figures better than the other? Does one have more character add ons?

Obviously M6 has the most stuff tailored specifically for him.
I admit the Gen2M I use most frequently is FW Darc. He is simply gorgeous, extremely versatile and his beard option has textures to go with Valea's hairstyles, so he's one little charmer.
All Generation 6 have their good sides. All males have weird pectorals as well, barring Brodie, I guess ;). I admit I like Brodie, though he has only one character for him, poor little bugger. M6 spawned many handsome boys, I love Svengar for Gianni by Saiyaness and hope to get Tyler HD by Raiya one day. All males she (?) makes have gorgeous skin. I like Lee's "brothers in arms", namely Malakai, Kasper and Master Chen HD (whom I hope to get one day). Other guys for Gianni I like include Ryze (very handsome), Kronos (scars!), FW Jason. For M6's brothers in arms, FW Dan and FW Oliver HD, Gaston, Jepe's Nathan, Sulaiman... Milen too. I like Jayden's pal, FW Ash as well, though Jayden doesn't have many morphs.
Don't forget there are great characters for Gen2M (and sometimes the morphs) alone! Peter is unique, I simply adore Boris HD, FWX Koichi is very nice too, so is FW Roman (his no-Goth version ). So it is really difficult to say.
Gianni - hubba hubba drool :)
If I had to choose one it would be Lee. It's easier to bulk up a slender character with the Head and Body Morphs than to try to slim down a bigger one.
Fortunately I do not have to choose, so I have them all, plus Rawn's Massive, Slosh's Legacy boys, SimonWM's M6 Swole, M3D's Hero, etc. ;) I can never have too many body morphs, not ever.
Lee.
Sigh....I am sorry I cannot answer this question because my runtime is just full of gorgeous male characters, and each comes with it's own attributes. If forced, I would probably go with M6 and some of his character add-on textures.
It is interesting to see that Lee has been mentioned a couple of times already. He is one male character I have yet to purchase.
Although not fully answering your question, I wanted to say how, in my opinion, the quality of available morphs and textures have improved.
I remember a time when I first started 3D modelling that so many male textures were based on a few commonly available merchant resource texture sets. They looked slightly different, yet the same !
Now we have HD texture sets with various natural skin imperfections, coupled with different breast, nipple, navel, and body hair variations. For me, this has brought characters "alive" from a previous shop mannequin waxworks model look.
We have some fabulous PA's here, and I personally see the quality getting better and better.
Cheers. :-)
FW Art's Sebastian or SMay's Boris.
If you're looking for diversity, however, then Michael 6 probably has the most products using him as a foundation base.
I own all of them, but I always like to make lean-fit to thin young men, so Teen Jayden is usually my go-to Gen 6 male. Though, Brodie and his content has immediately became a regular in my work flow since I bought his bundle... :)
That's what I was thinking of actually - more products for which figure.
I really like Lee and he is wishlisted - but too broke til next week. LOL. If the Black Friday sale could be Next Tuesday sale, I'd be right and could get them both. *laughs* I might go with Michael 6 now (simply for the add on characters that I like) and then hope we get a Christmas sale on Lee and Gianni.
Greetings,
FW Dan, but I've said that often enough. :)
He's based on M6, so from the perspective of 'what base character should I pick up', obviously M6 is going to be the most bang for the buck.

oooo was it you asking in the PC anniversary thread, cypherfox, about the glasses on a new FW character??? I couldn't remember. :D
I don't have a favorite gen 6 male. Not like I did with gen 5 males. I guess I'd vote for Lee 6, by virtue of the absence of the pecs problem that some of the other men have. I'd also like to say that http://www.daz3d.com/m3dhero-hd-shapes-for-michael-6 by Male-M3dia is a great product to have. I tend to use this often to dial up a nice physique.
Greetings,
Heh! Nope, that wasn't me... I remember the conversation though. IIRC it hinged on the glasses being flat on top or some-such, which none of Slosh's SPEX were, and neither are Dan's smexy, smexy glasses. ;) Okay, so it's not the glasses ex nihilo, but Dan being particularly smexy in them, and...oh, just...nevermind.:red:-- Morgan
Awe..... Cant I say all 3?
Michael prolly the primary one for me, specially since he has most support... But My fav would be a toss up between Lee and Gianni, choosing between them is hard XD
Just checking - there ARE only the three right? M6, Lee 6, Gianni 6? (not counting the teens)
So....
M6 was the "basic" man
Gianni was the muscle man
Lee was the Asian
Is that what they were going for? (would have been easier to just release different morph packs)
In the main Gianni promo here:
http://www.daz3d.com/gianni-6
does he include the bulge you can see? Or was that done just for the promo? (still trying to get a decent "bulge" on M6 so he doesn't look ..er...female)
Do Gianni and Lee add any actual morphs, or is just the Gianni bodyshape and Lee bodyshape?
I like them all, too and also Brodie 6 - he looks great when is mixed with the others.
Below are Daz Studio renders of 50% Brodie 6, 25% Michael 6 and 25% Gianni 6.
I just wanted to add my $0.02 here, and second the sentiment that http://www.daz3d.com/m3dhero-hd-shapes-for-michael-6 by Male-M3dia is a great package to have! I'm not overly fond of M6 out of the box (too skinny for superhero oriented renders, and he has weird looking obliques!!!), so M3Ds hero shapes are pretty much mandatory for me when I do use him. The hero shapes even include a bulge morph, in case you don't want to load the full-gen, so the shorts area looks properly filled out. Cool. I hate to sound like a commercial for it, but it adds a lot of versatility. I can't speak for Gianni, but at least for Lee 6 there is no bulge morph. You can of course load the full gens, though.
M6.. because Oliver.
Hey Cecilia.. here's a pic from about 5 years ago of Fisty and Darc at the river's edge.. very close to where they first met. ;-)
(and I married that crazy elf IRL about a year ago)
Agreed. Oliver is gorgeous.
