Log in or sign up for newsletter? The latter seems to be an issue mainly if people delete cookies.

Opps, never mind... I read the title wrong... thought it said something about aggressive Pop-Tarts... after everything that happened last year, Pop-Tarts attacking people would not be surprising.

Me too when I close my browser. Cookies are a threat to your privacy. They record and track the sites you visit.  So the DAZ nagware pop-up we'll just have to live with.

  • If you're being attacked by aggressive pop-tarts and pastries with legs,... someone has been playing around with the Finite Improbabilty Generator again.  0o

Cookies store settings and your ID, for the site that issues them. Cookies from inserted ads can identify you and enable tracking for the advertiser; keeping cookies for sites you use will not bleed across to anything else and will make the sites more usable. I would strongly suggest being selective about what you delete (or at least, selectively not deleting stuff).

Not to be confused with Pug-Farts... (Alpo scented)

The only way I can see to delete advertising cookies but keep site cookies is to manually set up exceptions for the sites you regularly visit (Firefox).  I use Brave browser and personally don't mind logging in for each visit. My usernames and passwords are stored by the browser so it's basically a two click process to login.
