A script for G8/8.1 geoshells

Would love a script to make G8 geoshells work with 8.1. Yes I know it can be done manually but I've tried that with no luck so far. I'm sure there would be a market for a simple conversion script. Cheers!

The problem I had with manual, was that the geoshell loads in 3Delight. I had to apply the default Iray shader on it first, before applying the geoshell materials manually. Then saved it out as a Wearable Preset on 8.1.

Maybe I need to try the manual process again. A few people have listed the steps, load this, copy this, paste that, but no luck so far for me.

There are scripts that convert between generations and male/female so I'm sure it wouln't be that hard to do that with geoshells.
