How in the world do I get the Lion for G1 to G2 with the GenXseries
Please help me bubs!
anyway you can.
do not do the crappy "point out the obvious" thing that ends up not working either...

well since it is a HD morph I am not sure you can
that said, I did bring my JaguarElla character over to G2M by exporting a base obj no subdiv as a morph target for genesis, saving the morph and using genX on that
she has some Catworld regenisis mixed with V4 GenX creature morphs as she is more toony anthropomorhic than RawArts characters
I haven't had any problem moving the RawArt characters from Genesis to G2M. I moved Sabretooth, Lion, Satyros and Sasquatch over just fine, using what I can only assume is the "crappy 'point out the obvious'" method. (The difficulty with not telling people what you've tried is that what seems obvious to you might not be to them, and then they'll know what didn't work for you and know not to suggest it.) I've run into a couple of issues, but they didn't stop moving it over with the usual method.
The generic issue that I've run into with GenX2 itself is that it includes the base shapes for M4/V4, but doesn't consistently do so for Genesis, or does so incompletely. In the case of Lion, it's incomplete. Assuming, for the sake of argument, that you're moving over the shape OK, but it looks wrong, you need to dial the GenX2 Genesis shape to 1.00/100% -- the claws are attached to the Genesis shape, somehow.
For the male shape, you also need to dial in the Freak 5 shape -- you may need Slosh's Genesis shapes product for that to work, since I think GenX2 only includes base shapes and not the major morphs on them. What I noticed was that when I dialed in the main Genesis shape, the claws came out, but the body got smaller, because it didn't have the complete Freak shape. It does seem to have brought some of Freak along, though, because when I dialed Freak 5 Body to 50% (what the Genesis shape uses), it was too big and muscular compared to the original, and I had to pull it back to 25%.
I don't think the LAMH presets will work on the Genesis2 version -- they tend to be very very very specific to a given character when they're created for it, and trying to apply them to G2F/M will likely make Studio crash with wild abandon. Also, the tail will probably have issues (to put it mildly) since it's a geograft created for Genesis and not Genesis2.
If those aren't your issues, then ... I got nothin'. What exactly have you tried?
What file to drag and drop to the genX window?
I tried the main rawtart files but it won't add to the list.
Have you loaded the Genesis figure from the Source button first? If Genesis isn't already loaded, then it can't transfer.
Once Genesis is loaded, I use the Actor file for the male lion to map to G2M, the one called 1_MLion_CHR for male or 1_FLion_CHR for the female. The only indication that anything is happening at that point will be that the number of morphs available for transfer will change -- the little tiny numbers at the top of the inside part of the pane. Then right-click on something inside the pane, select the "All" option, then "Transfer: On for Non Zero Values".
At the bottom of the pane, you should have the following options, depending on whether you're transferring to G2M or G2F (see the image below). Those should allow you to transfer the Lion to Genesis 2.

following what you said was what I was already doing XD
As a matter of purest curiosity, when you say, "It won't add to the list" ... what won't add to what list where? What exactly are you expecting to see?
That aside, there's not much else to do.
The only other thing I can suggest is to do it directly, without the presets. Once installed, the lion is part of the Genesis morphs, so it should be in there with the morph value set to 0.
For the Female lion to transfer to G2F, search for "flion" (Under "Female/SciFi" in the ACTOR group - search in the white space next to "Find" in the GenX pane, with the dropdown set to "any" so that it doesn't try to search for complete words or phrases.)
For the Male lion to transfer to G2M, search for "mlion". (Under "Male/SciFi" in the ACTOR group)
Double click on the 0 in the Value column and change that to 1. That gives a non-zero value for GenX to see.
You also want to search for
- "RawCW_CatLegs" in the "Universal/Fantasy-SciFi" group, and change that value to 1
- "Enable auto correction", in the "MorphKits/Corrected V4 UV" group, and change that value to 1 (for both male and female, for some reason)
Follow the steps mentioned in my earlier post to select All > Transfer: On for Non-Zero Values
If you transfer that to the appropriate figure, you should have the starting point. It probably won't transfer any dependencies, like the Freak shape for the male lion, but it will transfer the main shape. Then you can dial in the appropriate additional shapes from the Parameters or Shaping tabs of G2F or G2M.
If that doesn't work. you'll need to bring up your issue in the GenX thread, where the plugin creator answers questions.
It's on Genesis 1 in the scene but not in the list and I have all hidden things on "show" in GenX pane
I have no idea what's going on but I might just stick with the original G1 lion for now lol
a lot of stuff isn't popping up like Abominable and Victorian Monster and The Ghoul o_o and etc etc
but I have the Freak 5 and etc tho...
but as long as they work for Genesis 1 I won't die or anything haha
