Alembic exporter and Octane render (solved finally)

asked on Otoy forum but not a busy place so asking here too! :lol:
I bought the Alembic exporter as it was cheap with discounts so why not
and am trying it in OR standalone
I can get mesh in SOMETIMES get unknown error exporting a lot too
and those exports crash Octane Render importing as geometry scene in node editor
not bothered re texturing yet just added to an existing ocs I had using obj import to test animation
now it seems to work
but is very slow and I cannot find where to adjust frame render time, is doing full render each frame
does anyone know?
thought I had figured it out
need to use Daylight animation script not imported animation one
but no static mesh with just sun rise and set
samples/px slider is the one to use
but how do I keyframe events in octane standalone like camera movement? I can add transform nodes but not keyframed

did an ani but sadly have to choose between alembic import in static camera scene or static scene with animated camera
