Trying to keep 3DL present for Kichiro materials

Does anyone know how to keep Kichiro materials from reverting back to default colors once I apply the 3Delight Shader?

Colours or textures? For textures you can hold down the ctrl key (cmd for Mac) while double-clicking the preset and then in the dialogue that opens select Ignore for maps.
I'm not sure of the difference. I'm new at playing with G8 & iray default figures. Would a video of me doing it help?
What are you trying to mix? Are these two different characters, or changes you made manually in the Surfaces pane?
The skin's default is Iray, and there is a 3DL shader preset ... I'm just not used to having to convert iray characters to 3DL, so I bought characters that supposedly had 3DL capability, but I'm doing something wrong.
The body shape is Abasi with Kichiro Mats/colors/whatever.
I think Kichiro comes with a preset, to be applied after everything else, that cionverts the shader and settings for 3delight. Of course the result will look different in the Viewport, and will render differently, but it should be what the PA intended (certainly for 3Delight since that hasn't been updated).
That's my point ... I applied the color changes first, then applied the 3DL preset last, and it switches it all back to the default eye and brow colors.
OK, then what I said abocve since that sounds like textures (at least for the eyes) - hold down ctrl, double-click the 3Delight preset, and in the dialogue that opens select the ignore option for the textures/maps.
