Install of DAZ Studio Stalls

I tried installing Install Manager; it stalled near the very end of configuring the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. After waiting many minutes, I cancelled the install.

I tried manually installing DAZ Studio 4.7 (64-bit) manually; it stalled near the very end of configuring the Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable. After many minutes I cancelled the install.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get past these problems? I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

Can you try Running as Administrator?

I was running as Administrator.

The peculiar thing is that DAZ Studio apparently manually installed OK even after the Visual C++ package seemed to have stalled. Not sure what's going on here.
