Why does postgreSQL error pop up every so often? I just got the dreaded "valid postgreSQL is missing" error, havent changed anything, path is still the same. Maybe it just got bored, is it on holiday? Has it gone AWOL, or is there a party in Daz land somewhere? Really would like an answer LOL!! Easily sorted but very annoying.

That happened to me too. I had to uninstall and reinstall it in DIM and it started working again. DS just seems to have a mind of its own...
One possible issue is if DIM/Daz Central was closed just before Daz Studio was launched - it's possible for signals to get crossed (PostgreSQL iss till running at first, from the isntaller, and so DS doesn't tell it to launch, but then it has finished closing later and isn't available); this is usually an issue the other way (close DS, launch installer) rather than in the direction you are seeing.
