Changing the Diffuse

This has always been kinda annoying, but I never mentioned it. Don't ask why.
But in Daz, when I change diffuse color, like the mats on the floor or something. It don't change if the file name is the same.
Is this a setting, a glitch or a temp file thing?...

    If you edit a texture but use the same name, you need to refresh images -- Ctrl-i
    Textures are usually the largest files being used, and DS doesn't waste resources reloading them unless you tell it to.

    You need refresh. In surface tab, right click, menu is diplayed, click in "refresh images" option, there is also an "automatically refresh images",

    I figured it was an easy fix. I wasn't sure what to do though.
