Getting the hair to fit under the mask

in The Commons
Okay, another tribute to my DC Comics heroes, this is my version of Tim Drake Robin and a cuter (IMO) version of Cassandra Cain Batgirl. I'm 99%happy with it, but I'd prefer it if her hair fit completely under the mask, save for the nape of the neck, which is supposed to stick out.
Any suggestions?

You could hide parts of the hair geometry or use dformers to pull the hair inside the figure's head.
There are some hair helper products being sold but I never found success in using them.
or do the main render with the hair showing, then hide it and do a spot render and blend them in post.
I usually make a copy of the item (mask, in this case) and give the hair a smoothing modifier with the item as the collision. Then I make the copy invisible, and make the original a little bit larger. That usually takes care of most of my problems, but sometimes I use hair morphs to tweak if I have a big section sticking out, or use Mesh Grabber to nudge and tuck.
This. I was literally driving myself crazy for years trying to hide hair. Simple compositing in post.
Fixed it! Turns out I had purchased SY Hat and Hair Helper a few years ago and forgot I had it...after a refresher, I redid Batgirl's hair and it now looks the way I intended it!
