Opus Magnum to IRAY?

I have Opus Magnum and I have rendered it in 3Delight, Now I am I want to render it in IRAY... but it has no specific IRAY textures Is there a way to get the tesxtures set up for IRAY? this is me finally getting around to doing things so if I ever asked about this in the past I don't remember it, (I have a bit of a bad memory which is why I am on here asking about things I should remember or know how to do in the first place)
EDIT: Sorry about the title when posted, I realized my original question was moot when I realized that I was trying to render 3Delight textures in IRAY.

Have you tried? The main issues are usually glass and metal, if those look bad you could try some of the sample shaders included with the DS base content - though those don't, for the most part, take maps so you would lose details that came from maps.
Yeah they look kinda ... washed out, and like you said the metal shaders are jacked, they don't look like metal and the thing that got me trying to figure this out os there is a huge mirror in the set which does not work in IRAY with the 3Delight textures (obviously) and that is what made me ask, I need the mirror, and the trxtures jsut won't look right if they are not IRAY, and I kinda doubt that you can jsut use generic textures for everyhing in the set.
There is a 3DL to Iray converter in the store that can have mixed results, but still does a better job and will probably get you farther than just applying the Iray Uber shader to your 3DL materials.

Ah yeah, thanks, I finally managed to get the store to play nice and give me results related to what I am looking for and I have that product... (spend thousands on content it is easy to forget what you have) I'll give it a try and see if it does what i need, hope it does. Thanks again.
For a mirror, just use the Iray Nickel shader, set Base Color to White (or you can tint it with whatever color/shade) and Glossy Roughness to 0 (to remove blur).
I remember converting this to iray many years ago, I am not sure the 3DL to iray converter even existed. I think most of the shader tweaks I did was to the metals, glass and mirror. I don't think I changed too much with the rest of the stuff, apart from maybe glossy roughness on some of the wood.
Is anyone aware of the inspiration for this set?
The setting looks very much like the background used for the Kansas album "Leftoverture" which includes the song "Magnum Opus."
I asked the artist a while back and they were unaware of the album... It seemed like it might come from a mutual inspiration, but I have yet to figure out what that might be.
Edit to add: I went back through my emails and found that the artist's inspiration was artwork by Jean Baptiste Monge. It may just be a coincidence... or my eye seeing a connection that isn't there.
Okay, I am at a loss here, I used the converter and it worked pretty well and I even got the mirror to work until Studio locked up and I had to restart it and I had not saved yet, and now I can't remember just what it was that i did to make the mirror work.
LOL and the very next thing I tried did what I needed to do, the metallicty needs to be brought to 1.00 otherwise the mirror will never work.
