odd behavior

I updated to the most current Daz and now for some reason the perspective view

will just start dropping down.

I reset the view and it is still dropping

changed Batt in my mouse, still randomly starts dropping

sometimes I can get it to stop for a while but then later ....it starts dropping again.

anyone know what causes this? I need it to stop like yesterday.

What do you mean dropping down? Is it translating down or rotating to point down? It's not soemthing I've seen.

the point of view moves down at the pace I would expect if I was manually moving the view down

I am guessing it is the Z axis if you have not tilted anything

when it was happening, I was using duel monitors, I had clip art open as well

    and a streaming service.

I could not trace it to a hardware issue.

I could manually alter the view while it was happening and it would do

what I was making it do but it would still keep moving down as well.

If I changed enough stuff it would stop for a random amount of time but restart later.

Tomorrow I will try again and just open Daz by itself on only one monitor to see

    if that makes a difference.

The down movement was straight down with no rotation.

if the view was pointed straight ahead, it stayed pointing straight ahead but still slid down, like if you sat straight down while continueing

to look foward while you did it.

Did you have WASD navigation on (Edit>View, shift K is the default short cut tio toggle it on/off)? If so, and if DS was capturing key presses, then the e key would move the view down.

I was not holding down the 'e' key

and the drop was constant so I would need to keep holding it.

However, will turn off WASD nav if possible during the next try

Try changing to perspective view and clicking on the camera reset icon.

sure, will do if it crops up again.

Reducing the load on my computer seems to

have fixed the issue for now.
