Congratulations to the Daz team -- 4.7 is excellent

I'm a longtime Poser user, from way, way back, the Posette days. I first picked up Daz Studio when it was introduced, found it frustrating and not good enough, but over the years the Daz team kept improving it. Some basic things they've done really made it a pleasure-- properly managing Poser install directories were and remain nightmarishly complex, and smartcontent, filtering "what goes with what", a real boon.

So a tip of the hat to the Daz team. I've complained about stuff that didn't work well in the past (a lot of things!), so its only fair to say that Daz Studio has improved and improved and is now very good. There are still things that don't work well (can't easily export to Lightwave, a big issue for me), but the improvement really is impressive.

Poser, meanwhile, seems to be standing still, in a world of a zillion poly meshes and massive texture maps. V4 was a great figure and first inspired a lot of people, but technology marches on . . .

So kudos to Daz; there's still plenty of work to be done, but they're on the right track and they deserve a thumbsup.
