Importing models and converting them into Daz characters
Hello there Daz community!
I am very new when it comes to Daz but I have a lot of experience in Blender. Recently, I started seeing some people out there importing characters from games and somehow turning them into Genesis variants. I spent a couple days on google trying to find out a potential method but that turned out fruitless.
I will provide a link for an example: Link removed
My general question is, how do they go about doing it? Is it just some form of headhack? Some manage to add the 8.1 skin details onto them as well. If this is basic knowledge, I am sorry for the silly question!
(Also, if links to external sites are not allowed I deeply apologize and it will not happen again.)

Obviously the first issue is the game's license - you should check that what you want to do is permitted. Depending on skill level they may use existing morphs to match the look of the figure, then may use a sculpting application with soem kind of mesh conform tool to push the Genesis figure's mesh onto a sutiable sized export of the game mesh and load that as a new morph, or they may simply hand-sculpt the Genesis mesh to create a new morph.
Unfortunately there is an easier way of doing this. I am seeing all kinds of game characters being made into DAZ genesis 8 figures on game sites, DA and patreon, Pretty sure the end result isn't always legit since I have been finding edited textures from PAs and even full figures and not just morphs being shared and sold.
