Weird Green lines from skin grafts/anatomical elements

This weird green line keeps appearing around skin grats/anatomical elements (sorry, not sure of the terminology). I think its the same thing as if you duplicate a character and their skin intersects, it's like definition/highlight?

Nothing I can do within Daz seemingly gets rid of it. HOWEVER if I change Daz's layout/style from "window" options - it no longer displays, as you can see in the lower half of the image. It's very weird.

Restarting Daz doesn't help. Only switching styles whenever the issue (randomly) reappears.

looks like it's happening around the shoulder/arm area also.

The glossy effect is different there in your your screen shots.

Maybe it's the Dual lobe specular weight setting isn't the same for all the skin surfaces?

I think that seam is a problem with SSS.

Try adjusting the SSS direction to -1 and see if it goes away or the effect is reduced.

edit:Setting the SSS Direction to -1  or 1 seem to be the only settings I can use that don't produce that seam.

That normally fixes it for me.

  • Thanks IceCrMnheart It was a huge help for me. This method reduced the seam exponentially. (about 85-90% almost invisible)
This is the best solution so far.
