Converting LWO for Daz?

I've tried the 'Greentoken' online converter to convert a test .lwo file to .obj format, which should work in Daz.
It created an.obj file which imported fine to Daz, but textures don't come out, only the diffuse colours, etc. seems to work.
Is there any way to do it better, or another program that's better for transferring things like this?
There are some expensive (compared to Daz) .lwo items, and other formats too, that I'd like to use in Daz but I can't pay the money until I'm confident they can work...
What do people do usually?
Thanks.

Have you tried 'Poseray'?
Carrara and Poser both import lwo if you ever consider getting either one day
there is also of course Blender
Poseray is the fastest and easiest way of coverting from LWO. However, from my own experiance converting models, you may have to re-UV map the model and manually seperate parts if you need to have moving parts.
Thanks for the tips, sorry I took so long to get back. Poseray is the one I used to use. I'd forgotten that one (been out of 3D for a couple years). Hopefully I won't need to re-UV anything, cos I've never tried that before, plus it's just a static model/scene.
I originally tried Blender but couldn't see .lwo on the Import menu... ?
