Best way to cut and paste key frames.

I have an animation that I converted from MMD to BVH and brought into DAZ, and I was using the timeline tools in DAZ to fix the animation and ended up making about a 100 frame section worse than the original.I would like to cut that section of key frames and paste them into the animation I was fixing. The rest of the animation turned out okay. how does one go about cutting a section of key frames for the whole character and pasting them to another animation. Would it make sense to create aniblocks and use the dividing tools and then burn to timeline?
