Is it possible to unfit 30 pieces of clothing all at once?

I have G8.1F. It has thirty pieces of clothing fitted to it.  Is there a way to unfit all the clothing at once, instead of one by one? Then somehow refit all the clothing all at once later on?

EDIT: I figured it out.  Select all the fittings of G8.1F, so they're all selected.  Click ---> Edit ---> Figure ---> FIT TO ; that will allow multiple fitting and unfitting.  So you can rapidly unfit all the items, send ONLY G8.1F to Zbrush via GOZ, then have it come back.  Then refit everything again simaltaneously.

  • What do you mean by "unfit"?

Sometimes, I will use a Group to turn groups of clothing/accessories on and off with a single eyeball button. (Just select everything you want in that group, then hit the Group button.)

In DAZ, there's the concept of fitting, attaching, clothing to items. You can also fit or attach eyelashes to G8.1F, or fit and attach fibermesh eyebrows for example.

You select G8.1F, then you left click the clothing in the content library, and it gets fitted onto the G8.1F model. On the right hand window, it shows G8.1F in the list and the clothing as a subitem of G8.1F. If you unfit that clothing, it's no longer a subitem of G8.1F, meaning it has no parent and it's not fitted.

What is the correct term to describe an object that is attached to G8.1F?

The eyeball button controls visiblity. Even if you hide the item, it still remains attached/fitted.

I need to know how to unfit and unpartent skirt, pants, eyelashes, shorts, bra, all at the same time, instead of one by one. Then somehow reattach, refit, reparent them all at once.

I'm not sure the use case for this...

Select all the Items under your figure, go to Parameters tab, select all, under "Fit To" -> Select "None".
You can then Right Click in the Scene tab and Unparent All.

(The reverse probably works as well.)

Yup, that was the solution. I had edited my post and mentioned that, but good to have more confirmation.
