Select Multiple Items to parent at one time?

Is there a way already to select multiple items and parent them without having to do each individual? If not, that would be a great feature to have.

Select and drag-and-drop in the Scene pane should work.

1. Select one item in the "Scene" pane.

Press the Shift button while clicking another item in the Scene pane and all items between them will be selected. Drag and drop to parent.

2. Press and hold CTRL to select multiple items , one at a time. Drag and drop to new parent.

3. Click anything in the Scene pane.

Press and hold CTRL and then tap the "A" button. to select everything.

Hold CTRL and click separate items to exclude.

Drag and drop to new parent.
