Glitchy Power Pose Panel?
I've been trying out the Power Pose panel but I don't have as many points of manipulation on mine as in the tutorials and many of the nodes don't work or work correctly, are repeated or just random like the node for the right foot moves just the right foot big toe and the node for the left foot moves the right foot second toe. The face is missing all the nodes I see in the tutorials for creating expressions. It has only nodes for the eyes and the head tilt.
I'm running Daz 4.15 Pro and using the Genesis 8 and 8.1 actors. It's a new install but once I've finished this scene I can try a fresh install maybe. I'd really like to try the Power Pose tools to see if they can speed up my workflow.
Has anyone run into anything like this? Or does anyone know if I'm missing something or doing this wrong somehow?
Thanks, any help appreciated, still learning this program.

Is the Content Management System working on your system (Smart Content, categories etc.)?
I've got a delay for moderation or some such thing, as I'm new here I think, so I keep missing you guys. I managed to do a complete reinstall of Daz Studio. I got very lost for a while with the whole Daz central thing but I got it done and it took its time on the install, flashing lots of windows, some talking about repairing stuff. In Power Pose all the body and hand nodes are present and working perfectly. The head is still missing all the expression nodes with only nodes for moving the whole head or the eyes. Maybe they have been removed from the latest version for some reason?
Do you guys have the expression nodes in Power Pose for the Head, for opening the mouth, lips making them frown and such?
This is all I got...
Please be patient, the delay doesn't last too long.
I understand, not a complaint, just explaining why there's a delay in my answers to other folks posting.
What method are you using in installing your content, DIM/DAZ Central/DAZ Connect (Inside DS/'Smart' Content tab)/Manual installation?
Are you sure the PowerPose Templates for G8.1 are installed? They are included in Genesis 8 Starter Essentials since the release of Genesis 8.1.

I'm using manual installation only, not logging in to DS and not allowing DS to use any outside connections and this is how the Power Pose looks like with G8.1F
Note the Template Set "Base (Genesis 8.1 Female)" at the top.
Yes, that's the panel I'm looking for. There must be something wrong with my install. I followed an instructional video that had me create an account on the Daz website. Download Daz Central then install Daz central from the downloaded .exe file. Then from within Daz Central, I installed Daz Studio, everything was from within DC that's for sure. I have the Genesis Starter Essentials. That and a few others came with the Daz Studio installation. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall them from your link.
So what actually happens when you click on the blue arrow I've marked from your screenshot?
My Power Pose panel has 4 Templates: Body, Hands, Head, Face. Head is the one I've given a screenshot of, the one missing all the nodes. If I click that blue arrow it'll take me to the Face Template which has all the nodes and works as it should compared to tutorials and such online. As in PerttiA's attachment on their post.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials but with no change. I did this through DazCentral. I'm a bit confused by the link in PerttiA's post. do I have to download every part and all the install managers and then this Daz Connect too? And why is it asking for Daz Studio 4.9 or later, I thought 4.15 was the current release? I tried downloading Daz Connect and got some odd .sep file.
OK, so the face template is fine but not the head one. That's even more mystifying to me.
If you have used Daz Central then I would advise you DO NOT use Connect as well - it just duplicates the installation and may get you into a worse mess. I think PerttiA was just specifying which file you needed if you manually installed or used DIM.
DS 4.15 is the current release (DS4.9 is much older - they way DAZ numbers its releases they ran DS4.9 then 4.10 then 4.11 then 4.12, etc)
I see, that makes sense now.
I've done an uninstall and reinstall of the whole shebang, DC and DS and a uninstall and reinstall through DC of Genesis 8 Starter Essentials. It's not buggy or glitchy at all now, everything looks to be in good working condition all apart from these missing nodes. Makes me feel more like I'm missing something.
The only thing left I can think of is to do a manual uninstall of everything Daz with Revo Uninstaller and try again from scratch. Maybe that will shake something out?
