Is there a way to disable and re-enable the thumbnail feature that accompanies scenery, pose, shapes, etc. creation? In other words, if I save a preset pose, for example, can I do so without creating an accompanying thumbnail?

Not that I know of. Of course you can delete or replace the ones it makes if you want.

I know Poser over wrights the thumb each time you save a new preset. It can be quit annoying actually.

Thank you. I've looked all over and can't seem to find away. It actually is a nice feature. But when you create a lot of presets, there gets to be a huge amount that are unused.

Both programs overwrite what was previously created.. If you right click and delete a preset in DS is sometimes will delete the thumbnail and sometimes won't.. no idea why.
