Is there a model for a kitchen butane torch?

Totally random question here, but does anyone know if there is a model for a kitchen butane torch, like the type you would use for flaming a dessert? Searching for "butane" got me a full-sized flamethrower and "torch" was way overbroad.

This should do the job... https://www.daz3d.com/earkham-s-zworld-makeshift-flamethrower devil

There are mostly just butane lighters available here on daz3d...

But if you search for "butane torch", "culinary torch", "gas torch", "cooking torch" or even "blowtorch" on Turbosquid, there are a bunch available in OBJ format there...

A look on Turbosquid, CGTrader, etc. would likely be your best bet; I can't think of a single one even from the vendors and PAs who make collections of things like that. You may also have trouble finding one with a parented flame and need to add one in post.

(Reality and vision are different things, obviously, but IRL lots of us just use your basic Bernzomatic plumber's torch and blue propane cylinder. They're way more even and efficient, plus they're useful for other things, like burning spider egg sacs out in the garage! There are plenty of models for those available ranging from a few bucks to completely free. You might have to give them new shaders or a new surface here and there, maybe a label if you want one, but like the real thing they're cheap and not a lot of work.)

  • Thanks all. I'll check some of those other sites and see what I can find.
