Is there a Freja 8.1 version?

As seen in the promos of Grimaces - Dialable & One-Click Expressions for Genesis 8.1. Does it mean that there's a way for G8 to use the G8.1 face rig?

I'm not sure what you are asking ( Please put your question in the post body and the title - Daz 3D Forums ) but if you are saying that Freja 8 is shown in the promos for an 8.1 tool then it would probably just mean that Freja 8 was aplied to Genesis 8.1
Someone in another thread earlier in the month said they were able to get the power pose that we know from G8 on their G8.1 characters. They said there was some pack that had to be installed. I have everything installed as far as I can tell and there are no dots on the facial rig in the power pose tool so I don't know. I want to use the power pose very badly with 8.1, I am not a fan of FACS.
Freja comes with both g8 and g8.1 versions, the one in the promos is probably the 8.1 version.

It's Freja applied to 8.1.
Maybe it was updated since you got it, bought the bundle 2 days ago with the Drago sale and I have both 8 and 8.1 duf files in there.
Yeah, it was updated with an 8.1 version shortly after the 8.1 base character and Victoria were released. One day I opened up my DIM and was surprised it was there.
8.1 can use all 8.0 shapes and materials, not just Freja.
Like, shooting from the hip here, I feel like the only thing that might be impacted is the blink. Even then, those are pretty standard human eyes, so they may not have even required jcm's to close right in the first place.
Plus, you could get around that problem by enabling 8.0 expressions, right?
Have any other DAZ Original textures been updated to include true 8.1 versions (with the new UVs)? I wish they'd post a sticky or something if they're going to do this more than once.

I feel like the 8.0 expression dials don't move the eye region as well on a 8.1 figure as compared to native 8.1 expressions... but I like the changes to the way the mouth and cheeks move on 8.1, and I always fine-tune the expressions, anyway.
8.1's mouth region just nicer and less hard-edged compared to 8.0, IMO. There are very few cases where I use 8.0 versus 8.1 anymore.
I ported all my own personal little dolls from 8.0 to 8.1 already.
(Uh, excuse me, I mean 3d "action figures", not "dolls".)
/still haven't cut over from Iray Uber to the "PBR" skin shader, however.
I absolutely love the Freja character! She's among my favorite 3D "action figures". I wish I had a version of her in my 1/6th scale action figure population.
I'm looking forward to the 8.1 enhancements as soon as I get over my apprehension of DS 4.15.
