Just loaded Victoria 6 hd for the first time in Poser Pro 2014. The intial render with just the regular default lights has me awed. Which also has me wondering if I should add Laurie HD. Does any body have any renders of Laurie HD? I could'nt find but a few on a web search.

@wcottart -- Looks like no one else has chimed in, but I do have Laurie HD and I think she's great! Is there any particular pose or close-up you wanted to see? I'll post my Daz Studio renders (I don't use Poser) if that'll help you make an informed decision.

In general, though, I'd say go ahead and buy her. She has a custom head and body shape that differ significantly from Vicky 6's. And Raiya, the PA who made her does quality work so you can't go wrong.

If you can post Laurie side by Side with V6 hd that would be awesome, but any renders would be awesome.

Ok, I'm definitely not going to be winning any render contests with this, but here goes nothing: Vicky 6 HD is on the left, Laurie HD on the right. Default Daz Lights, pretty much straight out of the box. Each are wearing their "default" skins with no tweaks made. Make sure you click on the picture and view it full size so you can see the details at full resolution -- they both look incredible. I love the subtle look of vascularity in the shoulders, the detailing of the knees, and even the feet. Hope this helps! If you need me to render something else out, let me know..

whatever646, thanks for that image. I have yet to purchase any of the HD packages simply because i have yet to see that big of a difference in the many images i have seen in the forums, not enough to justify the cost and I have a few fixes that add some of what i do see. I can see a few of the things you mention though, especially in the legs and might have to actually try it for myself now.

FSMC - glad to be a help. The HD packages are really nice. They really shine in close-up work, or when you need to render high-res images. From farther distances, or smaller file sizes, they're really difficult to distinguish from the regular models, which still look good to my eye. So if you do a lot of close up work or high-res, they're definitely worthwhile!

Little side tracked today. I also bought reality 4 for poser, but it won't run on mac 10.6.8. So instead of playing around with the lovely HD ladies, I've been preparing some new partions and clonning my drive before making a leap from leapard to yosemite. See some great stuff in the skin on Laurie.
