Set a pose without changing expression

Hi everybody,

I have a lot of pose sets that change my character expressions, and I don't wanna this..
Is there a way to set only the pose and ignore the expression change?

Look in your poses folder for a "zero expressions" pose or something like that, usually under Poses/Other. Select the figure and apply the pose as you have been doing, followed by the zero expressions pose. These often come with an expressions product if you have one.

If you don't have a zero expressions pose, then there is a slightly longer way. Look for a zero figure pose (you should have loads of them under Poses/Other). Select the figure and apply the pose as you have been doing, then select the head only and CTRL-double click the zero figure pose. It will show you some load options from where you choose Nodes: Selected and Propagation: Recursive. It will zero out your head. You can use the same trick to zero hands, arms, legs, feet or whatever. Or even to load a different pose onto that part of the body (in this case we zeroed it).

    Hi Cridgit,

Thank you very much for the tip. Unfortunately I don't have a zero expression folder in my poses, so I will follow your advise and made all manual!

It's easy if you apply the poses first and set expression later but all poses must be without expression change to be sold at DAZ.

I complete agree with you. I've bought this set (gadgets and poses) and the pose included in changes the expression of my characaters, mouth, eyes, direction of the eyes, etc...
I also realized that other pose sets, even bought here on Daz shop, also change the expressions...
