What's your workflow for PNG sequence renders?

Hi!

We've got an wful lot of Daz files to render. We're outputting png sequences for After Effects and have a good render box but the problem is you can't queue them up.

What do you guys do to render lots of files? Just buy a load of other machines?

There doesn't seem to be render farms out there for animated sequences. We're happy to pay for a good service/solution.

Thanks,

Mark

Would this work for you? https://www.daz3d.com/render-queue

Thanks! I did see that a while back but I think someone said it's only still frames. Will give it a try.

Ah yeah, it's just single frame. : (

@markbennett - I have a similar product, Batch Render.  You're not doing a video, sounds like you can use either product.  You save each sequence as a scene file, then you can queue and render.

Doesn't say Iray but it works with Iray.

Thanks Scott. Though we need image series and it says, "The Batch Render does not do Animation or image series. It was written to do single frame renders."

    Is it current frame only?

In the iRay renderer in DAZ Studio you choose image series instead of animation file format to render your timeline animation. In that same configuration area you also choose the output location and one the the limited types of output files formats, one of which is PNG.

Then you collate the image series rendered in an external program like VirtualDub, Blender, or so on.

Hi Scott, this looks perfect! The only issue I'm getting is that it's not picking up the filename and location from each duf. Looks like it uses the same one for all files added which means each render overwrites the previous render.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? : )

    Thanks,

    Mark
