Product page states templates but do not

I bought this item https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-trudie-outfit-for-genesis-8-and-81-females and when downloading the template zip file I opened the file and it contains the actual product with all the files and textures. There are no templates. to make sure I downloaded the zip marked texture templates twice to make sure I had the right one. No templates nothing but all the files to install the product to the content library. both zip files contain the same thing.

    That would require a ticket to CS [sales dept] to let them know so they can get the files fixed.

    In the meantime, one can use a modeler [i.e. Blender] or a free utility to get the templates OR one can use a COPY of an existing textured image as a template. Just be sure to clear off any existing texture information before redistribution {if you are redistributing} ;-)

    I am not sure why they worded it this way however I assume they are talking about the material presets being located in the product libray (aka templates). I would file a ticket just to make sure but I have never seen a product include templates that were not a merchant resource. 

     

    On that note looking at more of their products they are all stated this way (except the DO products). They are more than likely refering to the texture material presets and calling them templates ( Daz changed the wording on the items they bought out ). I am not familiar with this PA, but some of our wonderful PA's are not native english speakers and may refer to something by a different word than what we are used to :)

    There use to be templates for every clothing item available on thier product page after purchase but when the store change over happened all those disappeared.

    Can't find anything on the file list that would indicate them being the templates.

    It states on the product page that there should be templates
