"No, Wishlist - Nooo...!"

I use my wishlist to keep a track of all the many items I don't have the immediate funds to purchase and, every now and then, I use it to see if any are on sale.

Imagine my horror when, today, I find almost the entire thing has been wiped out, save for the few I added last night and today...

Anyone else have this happen? I'm really hoping it's a temporary bug and that it'll 'reboot' later, somehow.

File a support ticket. It is possible that someone at DAZ 3D can find it for you again.

Yeah, was just doing that. It's such a bizarre thing to happen, though... Makes me wonder if there's some kind of upper limit where the wishlist auto-resets.

I gather it is some sort of random bug which strikes at some and leaves most of us alone.

Sad times... Highly detrimental to paying customers, though.

Well when they find the annoying little creature they are going to stamp it out with a firm hand.

Or throttle it in a firm foot.

I had the same problem two days ago, no clue why, but the support in the person of DAZ_Ben contacted me through the forum and fixed it before I could file a ticket. Aren't they awesome?

I rarely have the patience to wishlist something, it usually ends up in my cart, think mine has one thing
it never works for me anyway really
I did have Alembic exporter on it but discovered it on sale other week without looking or being informed by my list so kind of miss the point
    yes bought and used already

    Much like the flu.

I have a personal limit on my wishlist size. When its total gets larger than my yearly income I erase it and start over. (Oh, just checked and realized this new website doesn't total my wishlist costs. I guess they caught on.)

Maybe this is a feature and not a bug such that we create more customers like Wendy! j/k

Sorry for the inconvenience regarding this bug, guys. I do my best to restore wishlists as soon as I hear about them. Keep filling support tickets when it happens. I don't cruise the forum often and might miss your post regarding them. =)

I've restored your wishlist as best as I could Xeno. Sorry for the inconvenience. =(

Also, kudos on the impressive size of that wishlist. If I had the ability to grant you some sort of badge or acheivement, I would. =P

Actually, I hadn't paid much attention to my wishlist since a few months after Genesis came out. I don't buy much Genesis stuff. And since the switchover to the new website design I have no intuitive feel how long my wishlist was anyway. I could have lost half of it and probably wouldn't even notice. i.e. "Out of site, out of mind." :-|

The sliver lining to this issue is that by not paying much attention to my wishlist I save a LOT of money.

Hah! If only I had the money to cull it down to size...

Many thanks for that - would've been impossible to reconstruct, for obvious reasons! :)

    Thanks! :)

Looking over it, I notice that all the items that disappeared, were no-Daz originals, no-PC items. None of the Daz and PC items disappeared.

Two or three months ago, I was wanting to delete everything on my wish-list so I could start a new list (lots of out-dated items and things I had already purchased on my old list) and asked for a "delete all" option. In the end, tho', I had to go through and delete everything manually -- took forever with the 2500+ items on it. My new list was about 1600+ items. When I looked at it this morning, tho', it had been whittled down to about twenty items. What happened, DAZ?

Thank you very much for that. Any bits of info we can get can help!

Kevin, I've restored your wishlist to ~1800 items. If that's too many you can provide me with a list of the SKUs you want removed and I can remove them in bulk for you.

To anyone reading this down the road: file a support ticket for deleting your entire wishlist and they will pass your request to me. =)

Thanks. I wiped the old list clean weeks ago -- everything on the list now is stuff I'm currently watching. Just kind of funny that I could have saved myself the effort if this had happened way back then. Have a good one...
