Daz install manager crashes every time I try to download. (Resolved!)

my system imac 3.06 GHz intel core i3 running 10.6.8 with 12 GB of Ram

I did not install any software recently (except perhaps some daz purchases) I ordered Carrara for 32.50! and went to download it and now Daz install manager crashes every time I try to download. it also crashes when I try to download an update to any product. I was able to click on a link to the product page without problem. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall which seemed to work fine but did not fix the problem.
anyone have any ideas?

I have included the crash report below for anyone who might be able to read it. any help much appreciated! I want to down load Carrara!!!!

Ok this is just really weird! On a hunch I logged out of my main account and in to my second account and I was able to download files just fine. so I logged out and back into my other (main) account and when I try to download it crashes again!!?!! so something in the last order (Carrara ) seems to be causing it to crash but it crashes on any file that I try to download.

Ok so I tried to download on my pc from the problem account and had no problem downloading Carrara plus various content. checked again and I am still unable to download Carrara on my mac. install manager crashes about 4 seconds after I click download every time. Unfortunately the pc is to slow to seriously run carrara on. I need it on my mac!

Anybody?

I just noticed that I somehow still had a copy of Daz studio 4.6 32 bit on my mac. Since 4.7 64 bit seems stable with nice additions I decided to try uninstalling 4.6 as I heard we should not have two versions that are non beta . No problem to uninstall content or software but it still crashes as soon as I I try to download.

the crash seems to happen while cleaning up the download. Do you have disk space enough where DIM saves the files and file logs?

Hi, thanks so much for your response. It did help resolve my issue; I had moved my download folder and created an alias to the new folder on a different drive. as soon as I put it back the way it was the problem disappeared.

You can set download directory in DIM using the "cog" settings. I have mine downloading to a networked volume and have both my DS machines use the same download directory, which makes me only have to download a file once.

Install manager crashes when I log in on it. I am using Windows 10 and Poser 11. Is it a firewall setting issue or something?
