How To Make Infinity Lines?

I wanted to create some parralel lines that come and go into infinity.

The lines could be cylinders or whatever works.

Is there a way to do that?

One idea is cylinders that are scaled on the Z.

For my purposes they will likely be emmisive.

They can't be infinitely long, because they need to have defined geometry, but they can be long enough to be effectively infinite for the purposes of your particular scene. Also, wouldn't Y scale make more sense for cylinders?

It might depend on the orientation. I have created some using cylinders. They work, just wonder if that was the best way.
