Measure Metrics no panes

3denthus3denthus Posts: 20

Hey all I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem but measure metrics is no longer applying panes to my figures. The nodes will show up and they are parented however the panes don't show up. Then when I try to run the scripts I get an error that states I need to have a compatible figure with nodes selected.

Can you load the pane by going to Window > Panes > Measure Metrics?

No. the panes still don't show up. So the nodes from measure metrics show up without the panes and then the figure metrics fails to load and states that a figure with the measure metric nodes needs to be selected

Did you install with DIM or manually? Did you install all three parts?

I installed with the DIM. It just randomly stopped working... It may have been the 4.7 update but I've uninstalled and reinstalled it through the DIM.

If you go to Help > About Installed Plug-Ins, does Measure Metrics show up with a green plug? If you select it, what's the version number displayed at the bottom?

The plug is green... Its the measure metrics bundle and its version 1.1.0.12

Does it appear in the list in Window > Panes but nothing happens when you select it, or does it not show up in the list?

When you say panes, do you mean the pane - with the controls and readings -or do you mean the planes that load parented to the figure? Exactly which figure are you applying it to?

Sorry. I can get the window pane to show but the planes on the figure don't show up. The nodes are on the figure but the corresponding planes do not. I've tried it with both genesis and G2M and G2F

Is the CMS working - did you only just switch from Valentina to PostgreSQL? If you did, the database conversion may have failed if your Valentina database was on the verge of corruption - if you didn't do any customisation open the Content Library option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the pane's tab) and from the menu pick Content DB Maintenance, then check Reimport Metadata and click the Accept button. Accept the next dialogue, listing all of the products found, and when it finishes try the Figure Metrics wearables and script again.

I haven't customized anything and the rest of the CMS is working. Thank you for the quick responses. I will give this a try when I get home as I'm at work at the moment. I will let you know how it goes. Thank you again!

So I tried what you suggested without success... Still no planes and the same error message of needing to have a figure with the nodes selected in order to run the script.

And you are using the right version for your figure, from the people>Whatever>Measure Metrics folder?

I'm having the same issue, I've followed the steps here and on the linked information page, problem is, the product isn't on the list!
