Whats the difference between a left bulge map and a right bulge map?
They are pretty much doing the same thing to the geometry from what I tested.

Do you mean, more generally, positive and negative? One is for when the joint bends one way, the other for when it bends the other - the compressed side is likely to push out, while the other side is likely to be stretched, so different settings are needed for each direction if the joint can bend in both directions.
thanks for the response but I figured that part already. What I was refering to was how you could have a left or right bulge map per rotation
x bulge right
x bulge left
y bulge right
etc.
Was just curious about what the difference was since they both seemed to do the exact same thing with copy pasted maps.
Wait, is it so you can have 2 different bulges on either side of a joint?
