Install Failed

I'm new at this. I downloaded Install Manager for install failed in the following products: DAZ Studio 4.7(Win 32-bit)/PostgreSQL CMS (Win 32-bit)/ and Scene Builder for DAZ Studio.

Errors stated that the installed path for these three are required to be defined.

I haven't a clue of what to do as the search summary is not of help to me. It seems to be for a more advanced computer user or programmer or other IT person, etc., than myself.

I have the DAZ Install Manager icon on desktop, but, no place to show me how to define the 3 paths. Can someone help before I give up altogether. I really want to enhance my artistic talents, but, can't afford a new pc nor laptop. I'm stuck with an old desktop by Dell that is pretty good and without viruses...yet, with Windows XP, which I like just fine.

Thank you so much for any help.

There is documentation on install manager here : http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/userguide/configure_install_manager/tutorials/settings_for_install_manager/start

You need to click on the little Gear icon at the top right of the DIM (DAZ Install Manager), and tell it where your install of DAZ Studio is to be installed to, usually Program Files(x86) on a Windows machine

Moved to DAZ Studio Discussion as it's a DS question, not an offer of a freebie.

You may not want to install PostgreSQL 32 bit anyway, if you are using a 64 bit system and installed the 64 bit PostgreSQL - you can have only one version at a time, it doesn't have to match the version of DS as far as 32/64 bit is concerned.

I can't think why you would be getting a path error for DS itself - certainly not with the default settings. To make sure everything is OK please click the gear icon at top-right of the Install Manager window to open the preferences, then take screenshots of the Installation and Application tabs and post the results here. Also please tell us which operating system you are using.
