    Luxus.

Luxus works completely different to Reality, you have to convert each material to a LuxRender material via Daz Studio's surface's pane.

I'm not at home until tomorrow evening so I don't have access to my computer to give some screen shots but I will do my best to describe the procedure,

Go to the surfaces and select the material you want to convert, click on the little box with the 3 horizontal lines on it and select Convert To Luxus (well I think that's what it's called), then the Luxus material options box should pop up.

Will post some screen shots as soon as I have access to my main computer..

You also have a look or post here http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/21492/ which is the official Daz/Luxus forum

I am sure there are other programs out there that are just as good as Reality 4 and the LuxRender without all the hard aches and head aches. SO it will cost me about a $1,200.00 more but at lease I won't have to go through all the problems I did using Reality 4and LuxRender.
I remember going 10 hours rendering with Reality 4 using LuxRender and just to long for a pic.
I remember going another 8 hours rendering an image using Reality 4 and LuxRender and my system crash!
    No not worth it.

In which case you need to decide on wether you want fast render times or better quality, there are alternatives to reality/lux but you will find the render times will be just as long. One of the alternatives is OctaneRender, which does offer a free trail if I remember correctly, or you can wait for Pixar to release the free version of Renderman.

But if it's speed you require the you are best sticking to built in render engine.

PS. There is an update for Reality coming out in a few days time.
