Face transfer skin texture maps

I have been using Face transfer with various success. With some tweaking I can now get decent results. However, it seems to me that no matter what basic character I use when generating the face, Face transfer seems to use the same texture for the body and other skins. It is quite visible as some spots are always in the same place. It seems to be the texture for the Gen 8 base character. Is it possible to select what texture to be used to create some variation?
