Any older receding hairline black hairstyles

There are a variety of young hairstyles for black/african hairstyles and some older anglo hairstyles, but not a lot of aging black hairstyles. It would be nice to see some with graying and resceding hairlines without having ro resort to anglo old man styles like these on black characters.

Something with black curls versus straight hair. Was looking to use an older style on a scene like this of a piano player.

Something receding like the picture of Scott Joplin below

Would Savage hair suit your needs?

@Gordig Thank you. That is one option but it has an odd double arrow which makes it more contemporary, but it is a less realistic general

historic unstyled hairline. Nevertheless, I bought it as an option.

Another product that has versatility is Riccardo hair, but which again is anglo hair. Something similar might be cool if in a black hairstlyle. It offers different styling and hairline options.

It is possible to play around in Photoshop with some cloning and healing brush to remove the second arrow from Savage hair.

Here is with UHT2 Black 01 hair shader, since Savage hair lacked a black option.

comes with an entire character, though.

Pretty cool @Hylas Man!  That is a rough looking character. Wouldn't want to meet him on the street.

@Rakuda, I have Joseph and he is very versatile. Pheonix1966 did a great job with him, like the PA does with all the other characters they create.

Have you looked at Tapered Hair yet. It is not for G8M, but for the other generations and sexes and there is one thumbnail in the promo that looks like your pictures. The hair is short in it and the hairline is receding.

These don't have the receding hairline but are short, Short Afro Hair, Theo Hair, Melvin Hair.

    Mary

Edit to add: Stylish Hair. There is a non-cut version, but the hairline is not that high. Or look at Khalan Character and Hair.

@memcneil70 I think I may get the Joseph Character and the Melvin hair on my next round of purchases. I tried the Short Afro Hair and tried a deformer to pull the hairline back, but I didn't have much luck. That hair is in two pieces the longer hair and the cap. I did better with just the haircap, but not perfect.

The stylish hair and Khalan also looks like a good choice for filling out my male Afro-hair styles.

Thanks for taking the time to look up  and post them!

I would try pulling the hair you don't want inside the head, rather than pulling it back. Maybe using a weight map instead of the usual spherical area. There's a tutorial on doing that in my sig.
