Do Gen 8.1 shoes work on Gen 8?

i'm looking at this product, which is listed as only for Genesis 8.1 females: https://www.daz3d.com/fashion-basics-paris-runway-heels-for-genesis-81-female-and-victoria-81

Would there be a problem using this on regular 'ol Genesis 8 ladies, or is it only for 8.1? Would there be a problem using it on Genesis 8 females?

All clothing should work fine on either 8 or 8.1, since it is the same mesh.

It might freak out because the Scene Identification might be "Genesis 8.1 Female" instead of "Genesis 8 Female", and then it might force you to autofit.

(You may have to toggle Scene identification on that prior to putting on the shoes in order to avoid autofit.)

Other than that, the fit should be identical, as Havos noted.

Took a chance and got Paris Runaway Heels, even though it's for G8.1F and V8.1.  Then tried it in D|S 4.12.

Here's the result:

No autofit needed and did some tweaking for the pose but nothing I hadn't done before.

Fwiw I run both D|S 4.12 & 4.15.

No buyer's remorse
