Boardwalk with shops?

Has anyone done this? I'd love to have something like your classic Coney Island/Atlantic City beach town boardwalk with shops,  and other buildings. Either an HDRI or an actual model, both will work. I know theres the boardwalk vignetts but that is just a boardwalk on dunes. Not in a city.

Plus it's summer, and we need more summer themed sets.

...wonder if that could be kitbashed if you have the right sets.  Sadly no big wooden roller coasters to do something like Wildwood NJ or even old Jantzen Beach in Portland OR.

There is the carnival set which can easily be put on some asphalt or wood. But I'm more interested in beach gift stores, maybe some french fry, and ice cream stands, along with arcades. The only thing that comes close to this is the beach cafe. But that's a single building, not a row of them.

There is 'The Pier'from BlueTreeStudio on Renderosity. It has one version for Poser and one seperate version for DAZ. Could this do the trick for you?

Thanks, just looked it up. Yeah it could work. The only problem with that is it's in a European style beachtown. Not American. But I guess I can take the buildings and put them in front of the boardwalk promenade.

Both of these are PC+ so pretty cheap:

You would have to add the shops and other buildings yourself.

  • Yeah those were the ones I was looking at.
