What's wrong with this picture?

Specifically the skyline. Unless this is an Edvard Munch painting, the building are not supposed to lean. The scene is https://www.daz3d.com/la-pool-and-hdri. A warning advises to be sure to keep the "Y" axis between 230 to 300. My render is 504 x 283. I did not use the included cameras. I used the perspective view camera.

Since it's a HDRI, is the camera at the center of the scene (0,0,0 coordinates) or at least very close to it? Moving away from the center of a HDRI may cause something like that.

The less faking skydomes have to do, the better (that's just my take).

I myself am still at the beginning stages of "how to do skydomes right", so...

Do you have the "Draw Ground" on? That generally bends stuff.

  • I have this product, it's made for the angle of the included camera. Other agles will shot the fake HDRI nature. The props are good, though. Just pair them with something else.

OR... Render with your camera with no background, then render the background skyline with the included camera and combine both renders in the photo editor. The included camera is ok for this as long as you only rotate it around the Y axis.
