.Obj File (asset creation) > "Magic Happens" = .duf Asset Created for Daz3D

Ok... So, If I wanted to make something like a "Bee Hive" in... Blender/Zbrush, and I am assuming the end result is an .obj file.   How does it go from obj to duf?  Or, said another way, what is the work flow from creating something in a sculpting program to having a a packaged IM-able file?

You don't have to go into great detail ( I know this may be a tall order) but I tried googling, searching... yadda yadda and can seem to find info on going "the other way", that is, Daz to fill in the blank bridge, but not the other way.

Thanks, in advance

    Save as Figure/Prop asset.

My very limited (and possibly flawed) understanding is this: 1. Import the .obj with the import option in the file drop down menu. 2. Set up your materials with the surface tab. 3. Save as a prop.

To distribute your item (once you've turned it into a prop), you would gather the data file, the .duf file that loads the thing, and any textures in the correct folder configuration (just open the zip to any prop product and you will get an idea of how the folders should look). Put it all in a zip. I think there are products that will make stuff DIM ready for you. Content wizard may be one of them, but don't quote me on that.
