dForce String Lights

Can anyone tell me how to loop [dForce String] these lights? No poses or morphs available - I'm trying to get the straight line to fall into natural loops. Is it something to do with simulation settings? Hayelp!

You need to be a dForce wizard to do more than drape them flat. Try standing the straight one at a steep angle, or on edge for the loops, and see what happens.
Try adding a D-Former or three to bend the string into something other than the starting shape, tilt the string, then simulate. It might even look natural...
There is enought geometry there to stay smooth, but don't stray too far from the base shape or the spacing of the lights might stretch out too much. You can also use add-ons (didn't try them myself) Meshgrabber or dForce Magnets to, um, encourage a different shape.
Here are a couple of results. The top is a straight line string dropped from a steep angle (makes tight loops, maybe stiffen it some). The second is another straight line string with a few bends added with D-Formers and also dropped at an angle.
Thank you so much - I'll give that a try. Crikey, they don't make it easy, do they?
Well, if it was rigged or morphed, it would be easy. That is another thing that can be done, but a little time consuming. It was a freebie when it was released, so don't expect much. And the material presets are very inefficient. 30 MB to change the colour of the lights? 500KB to change one light?
