How do I create a bust for 3D Printing?

in The Commons
I've got a Daz figure (my own character - female), that I'd like to print in 3D. I'd like my first actual project to be a bust of my character, but I have no idea where to start.
I'm aiming for something like this (example): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3506336

You are going to need a modeling app to cut the mesh and make it watertight in able to print (for personal use only of course)
She's my character, and I don't she her with anyone, anyway.
I've found one. I just hope it easy to use ^^' (and will run on my laptop).
NP, but if it's a Daz figure, it doesn't matter if you created the shape, the base is still Daz and I didn't know the usage after you printed it, so just thought I would give you a HU..
best of luck, the hardest part will be creating the watertight mode after cutting the mesh. What modeling app do you plan to use?
Sorry, I should've added a
emoji (edited). I'm sorry if I seemed "offish" with my (last) post.
Thanks. I'm probably going to need it ^^'
I've downloaded Ultimaker Cura. Apparently its easy for beginners to use. If I can't get anywhere with that, I may try Slic3r.
