What is the story with this product? https://www.daz3d.com/evelyn-for-genesis-8-female I had character presets with this figure and there is some error now. Daz is trying to download again from the store but receiving some texture missing file errors. Now I can see this product is gone from the store

Also, there is conflict between this figure and Evelyn & Lynn HD for Genesis 8 Female. If you have both products installed and saved character presets it won't load properly

I have the second figure, but not the subject one. I even have Evelyn Hair! But in the past, your character may come back, after coding or other issues have been fixed. You can send in a customer service report and ask what is up and that way they will know someone wants her back.

daz repackaged her as "aubree" to fix the duplicate ID issue with evelyn & lynn.

the update was released through DIM around the middle of may.

So more less lot of my saved characters are f***ed as they keep asking for old files and this aubree is keeps replacing it. unbelievable

and there is another aubrey! https://www.daz3d.com/aubrey-8. Is there someone in daz HQ who are planing this? Before uploading new items to the shop you shpuld check if there is no any old figure with same names. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm pissed!

Aubrey 8 figure morphs are labeled as "Aubrey 8" so it shouldn't conflict.

 

Since we're at it, this character has her morphs labeled only as "Tara" instead of "Tara 8":

Why it's a problem? Because there's an older and still popular Genesis 3 character by Kayleyss named Tara available in Daz store. It's often converted to G8. Then it breaks when anyone gets Tara 8.

It's an easy fix for an advanced user, but it should be happening with Daz Originals release.

This one hit several of my saved files a few weeks back when I got around to installing a bunch of overdue updates. I got them working again by restoring the deleted morphs folder from backup. Now the missing files are no longer missing.

Has Allison for 8.1 been republished as Yun Lan? I wanted to get Allison but she dissappeared now I found out Evelyn was republished as Aubrey due to conflicting files. Edit: Allison and Yun Lan look similar but the jaw shape is different.
